"-as the headline act, the return of Christina Patterson as Tara Firm with her lunar crew in
Launch Pad Productions’ Tara Firm and the Dogs of War.
It was great to catch up with Tara Firm after the fringe. Those who saw TF and the Lunar
War Chronicles remember that our fearless heroine was left in rather a predicament--
imprisoned and unable to stop a lunar genocide. To make matters worse, her former boss is
very likely a werewolf. Tonight’s installment picked up right where the Fringe show left off
and kicked off whole new adventure for Tara Firm. I am happy to see this show continue. For
one thing, it would be a shame to throw away such glorious props and costumes.
Also, the actors have settled into their characters a bit. Patterson in particular seemed to be
having a lot of fun on stage and it was infectious to the whole show.
The Tara Firm series lends itself to TITT’s serial format: it is, at heart, a campy old-fashioned
sci-fi adventure that may be best digested in small chunks anyways. I look forward to seeing
how the story shapes up. "
